      The Florida Standards guide what students should learn in each subject. In standard G.K12.5.3.3B,  Upon graduation, the talented student will be qualified to take on leadership and involvement responsibilities in both gifted and diverse group learning environments using tech. I think I will be able to tech this using the information gained in this class.       In the CPALMS Educator Toolkit, I explored a 4th-grade science lesson about the durability. In the CPALMS Educator Toolkit, I found a resource for a Model-Eliciting Activity (MEA) about comparing the durability of different types of candy, specifically lollipops. In this activity, students analyze data and determine which lollipop is the best in several categories based on criteria given by a client.        Copyright protects original works, while fair use allows limited use of those works for education. As a teacher, I’d highlight the importance of respecting copyright and teaching students how to use fair use properly. I’ve learned that public domain can help us create materials legally. On the other hand, I still wonder about the limits of fair use, especially with digital content. It’s imperative to encourage students to create while understanding their rights and responsibilities.           Academic dishonesty is a big issue with technology because students can easily copy from the internet. To solve this, I would use plagiarism detection tools and teach students about the importance of doing their own work. I’d also show them how to properly cite sources.      Ever since I was very young, I have always been familiar with the Microsoft Word software. Even before I was able to work the software on my own, I would always see my mother and especially my grandmother use it on their own time. In middle school, I took a course explaining the ins and outs of Word. Because of this, I prefer word when compared to Google Docs or Pages because that is what I am most familiar with.       The ISTE Standards for Educators provide educators with an outline to help them successfully use technology into their lessons to promote student learning, teamwork, and creativity. The "Learner," which emphasizes that educators should continuously improve their profession by learning from and alongside others, as well as by experimenting with new pedagogical approaches and digital tools, is one that really appeals to me.       In this class I hope to learn and study the of approaches, strategies, and techniques that can increase the effectiveness, efficiency, and appeal of instruction. This will all me to learn tools that can engage students more deeply, cater to different learning styles, and foster a dynamic classroom environment. Effective strategies for classroom management and collaboration also contribute to a positive and productive learning atmosphere, while techniques that promote critical thinking and problem-solving prepare students for real-world challenges.
